Aggressor

Aggressor is the brand's heavy offshore plugging rod, on sale by 2021 and described by the brand as three years in the making after trials of multiple blanks and guide placements. The blank is multi-blend Japanese Toray graphite reinforced with a double layer of Cross Core Carbon, intended to work large lures while retaining torque to stop giant trevally and yellowfin tuna. The Offshore Plugging Series has three 1.5-piece spin models: 8 ft 3 in at PE6 for 60 to 150 g, 8 ft 2 in at PE8 for 80 to 170 g and 7 ft 11 in at PE10 for 100 to 200 g. The Long Cast Series, added as a new model for 2022, lengthens the rod to 8 ft 8 in in PE6 (50 to 130 g) and PE8 (70 to 150 g) with a faster-loading blank for distance to bust-ups. All models carry a Fuji DPS 20 reel seat with the brand's custom locking nut and Fuji KW stainless double-foot guides with SiC rings. Listed test locations are the Cocos Keeling Islands, the Montebello Islands, Cook Island, Fiji and Oman. At AUD 769.99 and 799.99 Aggressor shares the top of the price list with Raptus.
