Dream Cast

Dream Cast has been in the range since at least January 2019 as the brand's light land-based casting rod. The original three models are two-piece spin rods of 8 ft 8 in, 9 ft 2 in and 9 ft 8 in rated PE1 to PE2, PE1.2 to PE2.5 and PE1 to PE3, casting 12 to 60 g, on 40T Japanese Toray carbon with the C3 cross-carbon weave, Fuji VSS reel seats and Fuji KW Alconite guides, tested on both Western Australian coasts and at the Cocos Keeling Islands. The Dream Cast II, released in 2026 as "the next evolution", keeps the 40T Toray and Cross Carbon Core but uses a faster taper and a more responsive tip to cut oscillation during the cast, with gunsmoked Fuji KW Alconite anti-tangle guides, in 9 ft, 9 ft 3 in and 9 ft 8 in models rated PE2 to PE3+. The Dream Cast Squid Seeker is a separate eging line on a 40T Toray blank with a slow taper, Fuji VSS seat and Fuji LC Alconite guides: three land-based rods from 8 ft 2 in to 8 ft 6 in rated PE0.4 to PE1.2 and a 7 ft boat model, tested at Albany and Esperance for squid from about 100 g to over 2 kg.
