Ultra-light hollow-core Toray estuary and flats rods weighing 58 to 70 g
Quest is the brand's ultra-light inshore family, introduced in 2022 as the "Quest Whiting Popping Rod" and extended with shorter models in May 2023 and a Long series later. All models use high-modulus Japanese Toray graphite rolled as a hollow-core blank, and the brand quotes complete rod weights of about 58 to 70 g. Fittings are a Fuji VSS 16 reel seat and Fuji KL Alconite guides with a Fuji titanium SiC tip; the 6 ft 7 in models use Fuji K Alconite guides. The Flat Spec Series holds seven two-piece spin rods at 7 ft 1 in and 7 ft 3 in, from 2 to 4 lb up to 6 to 10 lb, in fast and regular actions, casting 1 to 12 g. The Inshore Series is three 6 ft 7 in rods rated 2 to 8, 4 to 8 and 6 to 10 lb. The Long Series runs 8 ft 4 in to 9 ft at PE0.8 to PE1.5 for open estuaries and flats. The brand credits testing in the Peel Inlet and by ABT tournament anglers on the Blackwood and Kalgan rivers in Western Australia. Prices are AUD 399.99 to 439.99.
