Origin

Origin is one of the brand's founding rod families: the Origin Long Fall, Spin Jigger and Slow Jigger were all on sale in January 2019, and the Slow Jigger was described then as a "Japanese inspired slow pitch" with enough lift for bottom species. The current Slow Jigging Series uses high-modulus Japanese carbon with Cross Core reinforcement and Fuji guides and seats. Overhead models are 6 ft 4 in at PE0.8 to PE2 and PE1 to PE2.5 and 6 ft 3 in at PE1.2 to PE3; spin models are 6 ft 4 in, 6 ft 3 in and 6 ft 2 in across the same ratings, all one-piece, with jig ranges from 40 g to 350 g. The Long Fall Series is an overhead-only 7 ft 3 in rod in three ratings from PE0.8 to PE2 up to PE1.5 to PE4; its extra length lengthens the fall, and a spiral guide layout keeps line off the blank and reduces tip wrap while allowing a lighter build. The brand describes a fast "snap-back" recovery after each pitch. A retailer lists the Long Fall as a 1.5-piece rod rated for 80 to 400 g jigs.
