Two-piece land-based long-cast spin rods, 9 ft 8 in to 10 ft 2 in, PE2 to PE6
The Specialist name dates to the brand's first lineup, where it was listed under shore casting in January 2019; the current Long Cast Series was labelled a new series for 2021. It is a land-based lure casting rod built for distance and for fighting pelagics from the shore. The blanks are custom-rolled high-modulus Japanese Toray graphite, and the brand describes the design target as the balance between castability and butt power. Three two-piece spin models are offered: 9 ft 8 in rated PE2 to PE4 for 30 to 80 g, 10 ft rated PE3 to PE6 for 40 to 110 g, and 10 ft 2 in rated PE4 to PE6 for 60 to 130 g. Fittings are a Fuji DPS-SD 22 reel seat with lock nut and Fuji KW Alconite double-foot guides, with guide spacing and taper tuned for casting efficiency. The brand lists testing on both Australian coasts on tuna, Spanish mackerel, mulloway, snapper, blue groper and giant trevally. A retailer-exclusive Black Edition has also been sold. Prices are AUD 469.99 to 479.99.
