Lurk Shooter
X-Carbonology saltwater grouper and rockfish series, scenario-tuned models
Lurk Shooter is Palms' Anglers Republic grouper series, based on saltwater rockfish and bottom predators in Japanese waters. Blanks use X-Carbonology cross-braided carbon construction for torsional resistance and reduced weight under load.
The lineup is segmented into named sub-models that share length and power but tune action for a specific scenario:
BOAT GAME SP. For short-stroke boat work
ALLROUNDER for general coverage
BANK FISHER for long casts from rocky shore and tetra belts
SWIMMING SP. For steady-retrieve presentations with reduced missed bites.
Casting (LSGC) and spinning (LSGS) options run from 6'4" to 8'8" with M+ to H+ powers. Useful for grouper and rockfish anglers using minnow plugs, heavy jigs, swimbaits, and large soft plastics around structure, jetties, and offshore drops. The plus (+) power notation indicates the blank sits slightly above the listed class.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 16 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
