JDM slow-pitch and light jigging series from Palms (Angler's Republic), made for bottom-dwelling saltwater species, amberjack, grouper, sea bream, and offshore demersal fish, from boat. The Metal Witch Quest Alpha is based on slow-pitch jigging technique, where the rod loads on the drop and fires the jig upward via the blank's recovery speed. Both casting (MTTC) and spinning (MTTS) variants are present. The SF-suffix models indicate a single-fall or specific action tuning; T-suffix suggests a through/tubular blank variant; BSLJ suffix designates dedicated bait slow jigging models.

Details on blank material are limited from available English-language sources, but Palms typically uses high-modulus Japanese carbon with targeted flexibility profiles to optimize the slow-pitch recovery curve. Lure ranges confirm offshore jigging weights, the 6'3" casting models run from roughly 60 g (2 1/8 oz) up to 200 g (7 oz) depending on power, and the 6'8" MTTC-685SF tops out around 230 g on the fall.
