The Penn Ally II is a multi-category offshore boat rod series covering big game trolling, standup fishing, and bluewater spinning. It is based on one-piece tubular fiberglass blanks with solid glass tips for added strength under sustained load. Target species include billfish, tuna, wahoo, and other large-scale offshore serves. Bass, or light-inshore series. Blanks are tubular fiberglass with solid glass tips throughout.

Guides are Sea-Guide stainless steel with zirconium inserts; roller models use Pac Bay rollers. The series covers three distinct functional groups: bent butt (ALLYBWII), El series straight and curved butt trolling (ALLYELII), and wire-class/standup straight butt models (ALLYWCII). Line ratings top out at 80-150lb on the heaviest standup models. The 20-rod lineup splits clearly. ALLYBWII models (5 rods, all spinning, 6'–7') handle lighter bluewater spinning in the 15-100lb range.

ALLYELII models (6 rods, 6' only, both straight and curved butt, trolling/conventional) span 30-100lb. ALLYWCII standup models (9 rods, 6'6"–8') handle 10-150lb for wire-class to heavy trolling. Heavier power classes use a dual suffix: ALLYWCII80130C76XH and ALLYWCII80150C76XXH distinguish 80-130lb and 80-150lb wire-class applications at 7'6".

Wire-class standup rod rated for 80-130lb class tackle. At 7'6" XH this is positioned for large tuna in standup gear; the M action provides the parabolic load absorption needed to sustain a prolonged fight without breaking off.

Heaviest rod in the series at 80-150lb class. XXH power at 7'6" is suited for the largest billfish and tuna in heavy tackle tournaments where maximum drag pressure is applied. The companion to the XH model at 80-130lb.

ALLYWCII1025C80 Trolling · 8' · L · MF action

Lightest wire-class model at 8'. The 10-25lb line range and L power flag this for light-tackle trolling (small tuna, wahoo, dolphin) where distance and bait action matter; the 8' length aids in bait spread management.
