Acute Violet

The Acute Violet (marketed as ACUTEVIOLET) is PureLure's hard-bait-focused lure rod based on a regular-fast (RF) action intended for jerkbaits, crankbaits, and reaction presentations. The brand places it as a do-it-all lure rod, and YouTube reviews from European anglers confirm it handles pike, perch, bass, and similar species effectively on medium-weight hardware. The RF action is the series' defining trait, softer through the midsection than XF, which cushions treble hooks and loads more naturally for sustained retrieves.

Blanks are 36T (Toray) carbon fiber with a 45+90 degree cross-roll layup, a construction common to PureLure's higher-tier series. Guides are titanium-frame Torzite ring inserts, notably premium for the price point. Reel seat is carbon construction. The chameleon paint finish shifts color at different viewing angles, a cosmetic differentiator. The RF action is explicitly designed for long-cast hookset scenarios where a full XF tip would pull trebles on short-striking fish. Six models total: three casting (6'6" ML and M, 6'8" MH) and three spinning (6'8" L, 7'2" ML ×2 in different line/lure ranges).

The casting models form a tight power progression from finesse (ML) to heavy cranking (MH).
