The PureLure Cedan is a Chinese-made light-power lure rod series made for freshwater bass, trout, perch, and similar light-tackle species. It is made for anglers seeking BFS-style (bait finesse system) or ultralight casting and spinning performance with premium components at a competitive price point. The series suits small stream, river, and lake fishing with light lures, not heavy bass tactics or saltwater use. Blanks are 36-ton carbon fiber with solid tips throughout the lineup, the solid tip design maximizes sensitivity at the cost of some tip action sharpness, aiding bite detection with light lures.

Fuji Alconite guide rings on stainless frames are standard across all models. Reel seats are dark oak-colored with 3A-grade cork handles. The ferrule system uses a proprietary joint claimed to be stronger than traditional ferrules. All models are compact travel-capable formats (2-piece or multi-piece). All 8 models are L power, the lineup deliberately stays light. Both casting (FC) and spinning (FS) variants are offered. Lengths range from 5'9" to 6'10".

Actions split between XF and F. Shorter models (5'9", 6'1", 6'3") favor XF action for quicker lure response; longer models (6'10") use F action. Each length is offered in both cast and spinning variants, giving anglers freedom to choose their reel style without changing lure or line weight.
