Silix-T

The Silix-T is PureLure's one-piece precision lure rod series, defined by Extra Fast (EF) action across all five models and an explicit power label encoded in every model code ("/XF" suffix indicates the Extra Fast designation). The series spans L through MH in 6'6" to 6'10" lengths, with all models rated for 3-24g lure weights and line weights in lb (4-20lb) rather than PE.

The original two-model lineup (SILIX-68M/XF casting at M power and SILIX-69MH/XF casting at MH power) covered medium and medium-heavy baitcasting applications at identical 6'8" lengths. The addition of three models extended the series: SILIX-68ML/XF adds a Medium Light casting option at 6'8"; SILIX-610ML/XF introduces the first spinning model at 6'10" in ML power; and SILIX-661L/XF adds a Light spinning model at 6'6". The new additions bring the lightweight end into the series and establish Silix-T as a casting-and-spinning family rather than a casting-only lineup.

Rod weights across the series run 82-98g, with the two spinning models (82-87g) the lightest in the group — notable for 1-piece blanks in this format. Extra Fast action on L-power blanks is an uncommon configuration that prioritizes tip sensitivity and fast hookset response over the blank compliance more often paired with light power ratings. This makes the SILIX-661L/XF and SILIX-610ML/XF suited to applications where precision detection and immediate response matter more than cast loading smoothness — small lure jigging, light jig heads, and compact spinning presentations where the blank's feedback channel is the primary consideration.
