The PureLure Torrent is a Chinese-market general lure rod series using Fuji components throughout, an uncommon spec at its price tier that positions it above typical budget imports. The series is built for freshwater bass, trout, and light predator fishing with artificial lures, leaning toward the finesse and light-to-medium spectrum. PureLure is a JDM-adjacent brand producing for the Chinese market with Japanese-influenced design sensibility; independent English-language reviews are sparse. Blanks use a 30T+40T TORAY carbon laminate with 45°+90° cross-lay construction, a dual-modulus approach intended to combine tip sensitivity with butt strength.

The one-piece carbon handle eliminates grip slippage and transmits blank vibration directly. All Fuji components: K-series anti-wrap guides with Alconite rings (lighter and harder than standard zirconia), Fuji ECS or equivalent reel seat. Build quality is consistently reported as solid for the price range, though long-term field durability data is thin in English-language sources. Five models: one casting (7'6" MH/F) and four spinning. The spinning rods are all extra-fast or fast action in ML or M power, ranging 6'8" to 8'6", with lure windows from 3/32 oz up to 1 oz.
