Trota

A compact, short-blank UL trout rod from PureLure in the JDM area stream trout style. The name 'Trota' (Italian for trout) is common in the JDM micro-rod naming convention. Built for small, overhung streams where casting room is limited, at 4'7" and 5'2", these rods are genuinely short and demand precision flick-casting and underhand roll casts instead of open-air overhead casts. Primary serves are stream trout and small panfish on micro-lures down to 1/32 oz.

Blank construction uses 24+30T Toray carbon fiber in a 3-piece configuration, keeping pack length compact for backcountry access. XF (extra fast) action concentrates the bend in the tip for sensitivity on very light lures and fast hook-setting. FUJI guides are confirmed. Golden camphor wood reel seat with metal reinforcement. Cork handle. Lure range 1/32–1/4 oz (approximately 1–7g) and line to 4lb positions these squarely in micro-fishing territory.

Four models spanning two lengths (4'7" and 5'2"), each available in both spinning and casting variants. The casting versions are BFS-oriented, not standard baitcasting use. The 5'2" versions extend reach slightly for slightly more open water. All models share UL power and XF action, making the lineup internally consistent but narrow in application.
