The Avid Series Inshore sits above the Mojo Inshore in St. Croix's saltwater lineup, offering SCIII graphite blanks, Kigan Master Hand Zero titanium-framed guides, and a 15-year transferable warranty. The series won Best Saltwater Rod at ICAST 2015 after a full redesign and serves serious inshore anglers fishing redfish, snook, striped bass, tarpon, and similar coastal species. It is not the right choice for casual use. Price and warranty backing reflect a tool meant for sustained hard use.

Kigan Master Hand Zero guides with titanium frames and aluminum-oxide rings are notably lightweight while providing strength for braid. The Fuji reel seat features a gunsmoke hood. Blanks use IPC tooling for smooth action transitions. The series includes six casting models labeled "Trolling" in the database (likely reflecting St. Croix's inshore conventional style classification) and 17 spinning models, several of which reach into heavier XH territory for nearshore/light offshore applications.

The lineup spans 6'–7'11" with power ratings from M to XH. The three XH models (ASIC76HMF, ASIC79XHMF, ASIS79XHMF) rated to 40–80lb line and 2–6oz lures extend the series into nearshore trolling and heavy live-bait territory well beyond typical inshore use. The ASIS70MXF spinning model is the only XF-action rod in the series, made for finesse presentations requiring fast tip recovery.

The shortest model in the series at 6'. Compact length suits dock fishing, kayak use, or tight mangrove situations where a 7' rod creates handling problems.

ASIS70MXF Spinning · 7' · M · XF action

The only extra-fast action model in the series. M/XF pairing serves finesse inshore techniques. Soft plastics on light jig heads, small topwaters. Where the fastest possible tip recovery aids repeated short casts.

ASIS73LF Spinning · 7'3" · L · F action

Light power at 7'3" is the finesse end of the inshore spinning range. Suited to speckled trout and smaller redfish on light jigs or soft plastics in shallow water where casting distance and delicacy matter.

ASIC79XHMF Trolling · 7'9" · XH · MF action

At 7'9" XH with 40–80lb line capacity and 2–6oz lure range, this rod sits at the outer edge of inshore and into nearshore or light offshore conventional territory. The MF action suggests use with live bait or heavy plugs.
