Onchor

Onchor is St. Croix's salmon and steelhead family covering casting, spinning, float, and center pin techniques across long-rod lengths from 7'10" up to 13'. Blanks are SCIII Carbon Fiber built with St. Croix's Integrated Poly Curve (IPC) tooling to eliminate transition points, Advanced Reinforcing Technology (ART) for hoop strength, and Fortified Resin System (FRS) curing. Model prefixes split the family by technique.

ONCC denotes casting conventional builds for plug pulling, back-trolling, and drift fishing. ONCS marks spinning models for in-hand presentations. ONFCC and ONFCS are the float-fishing casting and spinning variants, tuned with softer tip sections for bobber-and-jig and float-and-bead work. ONCP designates the long center pin rods in 11' and 13' lengths with moderate actions matched to drag-free drifts.

Components include aluminum oxide guide rings in stainless steel frames, nylon reel seats with stainless secondary nuts, and either carbon fiber with rubber butt caps or premium cork handles with composite cork butt caps. Lure weight ratings span 3/16 oz up to 16 oz across the range. Five-year warranty applies.
