The Rayfin is St. Croix's premium international predator series, designed primarily for European perch, zander, and sea bass techniques and also marketed as a multi-species option for North American freshwater anglers. The 25-rod lineup spans seven casting and eighteen spinning configurations across one- and two-piece builds. Blanks are SCIV+ hybrid carbon fiber and use St. Croix's IPC mandrel technology, ART reinforcing, TET taper enhancement, and FRS Fortified Resin System.
Guides are titanium-frame with silicon carbide rings. The reel seat is a Fuji TCH carbon fiber design with carbon fiber and titanium locking hardware. Handles are split-grip premium EVA with cork rubber accents. Lengths run from 203 cm to 274 cm (roughly 6'8" to 9'), powers from medium-light to heavy, and actions from moderate to extra-fast.
Each rod ships with a protective mesh sleeve and carries a 15-year warranty. Manufactured in North America. The 2-suffix on spinning models denotes a two-piece travel build.
