Legend Tournament Musky
SCIV+ musky baitcasters with GRASP II modular grip, 7'6"-9'6", M-XH power
The Legend Tournament Musky is St. Croix's top-tier musky casting lineup, designed for dedicated esox anglers working large hard baits, swimbaits, and topwater from boats. It serves the experienced musky hunter who demands all-day castability with lures pushing 2-12oz and lines from 65-120lb braid. Built on SCIV+ carbon fiber blanks with Integrated Poly Curve (IPC) technology for smooth transitions and Advanced Reinforcing Technology (ART).
The defining component is the GRASP II modular reel seat, a three-position interchangeable grip system allowing anglers to configure handle geometry to their casting style. All models are baitcasting; the series is handcrafted in Park Falls, Wisconsin and carries a 15-year warranty. The 17-rod lineup divides into two sub-families by prefix: TMGFC (full-grip conventional handle) and TMGSC (split-grip handle). Lengths run 7'6" to 9'6".
Powers range from M to XH; the XH models at 8'6" and 9' handle lures to 12-24oz for big-bait specialists. Three models carry a "T" suffix showing travel/two-piece construction. The TMGSC sub-family skews lighter (M to MH, lures to 6oz) for glide baits and figure-eight work requiring more feel; the TMGFC sub-family covers H and XH power for heavy lure application.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 17 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.

Model notes
4 of 17 modelsThe lightest-power model in the series. Suited for lighter musky presentations -- small bucktails, inline spinners, and lighter glide baits -- or for fishing pressured fish that require less aggressive lure weights. The F action and M power combination permits more lure movement input.
Sole MF (moderate-fast) action model in the lineup. The softer tip relative to the F-action rods provides more load during the cast and easier figure-eight execution with smaller glide baits. A specialist choice for finesse musky presentations.
Entry point into the XH sub-category; 6-12oz lure range covers most large glide baits and heavy topwaters. The 8'6" length gives anglers leverage without the awkwardness of the 9' for anglers fishing tighter cover or smaller boats.
The heaviest-rated model in the lineup at 8-24oz. Built for magnum swimbaits and large topwater over open water. Reach and leverage are primary; outside the practical choice for tight casting lanes lane.
