The Mojo Ice is St. Croix's mid-price ice fishing rod series made for panfish, perch, crappie, walleye, and opportunistic pike anglers. The 12-rod lineup spans 24" to 36" in UL through MH power, with two dedicated jigging (MJIC prefix) models for heavier applications. Pricing typically runs $42–$69, placing the series above entry-level but well below premium ice tiers. Blanks are precision-taper solid carbon, one-piece solid carbon blanks that avoid hollow-tip fragility and provide more consistent load curves across extreme cold temperatures.
A custom reel seat opens the blank above the grip, allowing the index finger to contact the blank directly for improved vibration transmission, a useful feature when wearing fingerless gloves. Guides are lightweight stainless steel. No specific guide coating or insert material was identified in available sources. Tips on select models are color-coded for visual strike indication in low-light conditions. St. Croix backs the series with a 5-year warranty. The 10 spinning models (MJI prefix) run from 24" UL to 36" MH, covering the full range from ultralight panfish to walleye.
The two dedicated casting/jigging models (MJIC prefix) are both 34", one MH and one H, suited to vertical jigging for walleye and small pike on tip-up-style setups or aggressive jigging rigs. Lengths of 24" suit shallow/mid-lake portable shelter fishing; 36" models provide more reach for deeper setups and bigger fish.

A closer look at notable models.
Shortest and lightest model; 24" UL for small panfish in shallow water or tight shelter conditions. Best paired with ultralight spinning reels and 2–4 lb monofilament for crappie and perch.
The sole Light-power model; 36" for light-duty finesse work at depth. Useful for crappie and light bluegill fishing where extra reach in longer holes benefits presentation control.
Longest and heaviest spinning model; 36" MH for walleye or large perch in deeper water. Extra length improves hook-set angle through thick ice and provides more shock absorption on heavier fish.
Heaviest model in the series; 34" H casting/jigging rod for aggressive jigging techniques made for walleye and pike. The C designation indicates a stiffer jigging build distinct from the lighter spinning models.
