The Premier Glass Musky is a single-model fiberglass casting rod built specifically for large-lure musky fishing. It fits anglers who want the shock-absorbing, load-and-launch characteristics of a glass blank, qualities that help keep treble hooks pinned during the violent head shakes that cost musky anglers fish on graphite rods. The technique focus is big-bait casting: bulldawgs, bucktails, large crankbaits, and glide baits.

The blank is SCII fiberglass, not graphite, giving a moderate action that loads progressively and cushions against hook pull. Guides are Kigan Master Hand 3D with aluminum-oxide rings and black frames; the reel seat is a Fuji ECS/TCS/PSS with frosted silver hood. Premium cork handle and two coats of Flex-Coat slow-cure finish round out a build that is made and warranted in Park Falls, Wisconsin.

The series consists of a single rod: 8'0", Heavy power, Moderate action, rated for 40–80 lb line and 1–8 oz lures. At that configuration there is no meaningful power or length tier, this is a specialized tool, outside the range lane. It is positioned at the mid-premium tier within the St. Croix catalog.

PGM80HM Casting · 8' · H · M action

Single entry in the series. The 8'0" length gives casting reach while the SCII glass blank and Moderate action absorb the shock of a musky's strike and reduce hook pull on treble-hooked lures. Heavy power handles lures up to 8 oz. The fiberglass construction makes this noticeably heavier than graphite musky rods but is intentional for the technique.
