The St. Croix Triumph Travel Surf is a 4-piece travel-friendly surf spinning rod made for anglers who want a capable surf rod they can carry on planes or store in tight spaces without sacrificing all-day casting performance. The intended use covers general surf fishing, live bait rigs, spoons, jigs, and topwater, made for stripers, redfish, and similar surf species from beach or jetty.
Blanks are SCII premium-quality carbon. Guides are lightweight hard aluminum-oxide surf guides. The reel seat is a Fuji DPS with frosted silver hoods. Handle is custom cork tape in a 70/30 split-grip design. Finish is two coats of Flex-Coat slow cure. A quality travel case is included; the 4-piece breakdown allows the rod to pack into checked luggage. Manufactured in Fresnillo, Mexico; 5-year warranty.

The lineup gives anglers two medium-power models in MF action: the TSF90M4 (9 ft, lure 1/2–2.5 oz, line 8–20 lb) works for closer-range jetty and inlet fishing, while the TSF100M4 (10 ft, lure 3/4–4 oz, line 8–20 lb) adds reach and heavier lure capacity for open beach casting. Both are 4-piece and share the same construction.

The shorter 9-foot model suits jetties, piers, or fishing destinations where overhead obstacles limit rod length. Its lighter lure ceiling (2.5 oz max) aligns with smaller jigs and float rigs instead of heavy cut-bait sinker rigs.
The 10-foot model is the primary beach-casting tool in the pair, able to launch heavier lures farther and hold line off crashing surf. The MF action keeps it versatile for both bait soaking and active lure retrieves.
