Trout Series

The St. Croix Trout Series is a spinning-only freshwater series made for trout anglers fishing creeks, rivers, and tailwaters with light artificial lures. The series covers both stream anglers made for resident wild trout on ultralight presentations and larger-river anglers working heavier spinners and small swimbaits for large trout. It is manufactured in Park Falls, Wisconsin, and sits above St. Croix's Triumph tier. Blanks are built on SCII carbon fiber with SCVI reinforcement, coated in a Fortified Resin System for impact protection.

Sea Guide Atlas Performance guides use stainless inserts. The reel seat is a Sea Guide NPS with an integrated rear nut. Split-grip premium EVA handles are used throughout. Actions are fast or extra-fast; no moderate-action models appear in this lineup. The "2" suffix in most model numbers denotes a two-piece configuration; the TFS54ULF and TFS410ULF are one-piece. The 12-model lineup spans 4'10" to 7'0" with UL, L, and ML power ratings. Short models (4'10" to 5'6") are made for tight headwater streams.

Mid-lengths (6' to 6'9") are general-purpose stream and small-river rods. The 7'0" models, available in L-XF and M-XF, address larger rivers and downstream presentations. Extra-fast actions in the longer models (MLXF, LXF, MXF) are noted for better sensitivity and hook contact on small-gap trout hooks.
