The 13 Fishing Oath is a tournament-grade casting series positioned for competitive bass anglers who want Japanese-sourced blank construction at a price below the top-tier Japanese brands. The series is based on PVG36T Japanese carbon with a Cross Carbon Overlay and is frequently described as delivering performance above its price class. It serves serious recreational and tournament anglers who fish multiple techniques and want a cohesive rod family instead of a mix of brands.
Blanks are Japanese PVG36T with cross-carbon reinforcement. Guides are Evolve stainless steel tangle-free with Alconite inserts, lighter than steel but a step below Fuji Titanium frame. The Evolve custom reel seat has a soft-touch finish; handles are split-grip with 3A Portuguese cork. The Snaggle Tooth hook keeper is a functional detail. Build quality and component choice are well above the price point according to multiple independent reviews. Seven casting models only (Spinning in this sub-series), 6'8" to 7'11", M to H power, MF to XF action is absent.
The lineup covers the main bass tournament techniques: OATHC68M-F (6'8" M F) and OATHC71M-F (7'1" M F) are general finesse/medium presentations; OATHC73MH-XF and OATHC76MH-XF are the fast/extra-fast MH options for jig-and-worm, Texas rig; OATHC74H-F and OATHC711H-F (7'11" H F) handle heavier flipping and swim jig duty. The OATHC74MH-MODF is the crankbait variant with its slower moderate-fast action.

Extra-fast action MH at 7'3" is the primary jig, Texas rig, and shaky head tool, XF delivers immediate hook-set feedback. Narrow lure range (3/8-1oz) keeps it honest for finesse-to-medium plastics instead of heavy flipping.
The sole moderate-fast model in the lineup, the crankbait and moving bait rod. The softer tip gives on hooksets to keep fish pinned with treble-hook lures and loads against resistance for distance casting of mid-size plugs.
Longest model at nearly 8'. H power with 1 1/2oz upper lure limit suits big swimbaits, heavy flipping rigs, and long-distance punching. The extra length improves hookset leverage from a distance and casting arc for heavy lures.
