The 13 Fishing Omen Gold Spinning series is a mid-tier freshwater bass spinning rod line based on finesse and light-lure presentations. It fits bass anglers fishing drop shot, Ned rig, wacky rig, shaky head, and similar light techniques. The series sits below the Omen Black in 13 Fishing's hierarchy, oriented toward value-conscious tournament anglers and serious recreational fishers. Blanks are built on 36-ton Toray Japanese graphite for a balance of sensitivity and weight.
Guides are Fuji stainless K-frame with Alconite inserts (not full SiC), functional for the price tier but not the highest-end option. The reel seat is an Evolve Skeleton design that exposes the blank for direct contact, improving vibration transmission. Handles use hand-selected Premium Portuguese 3A cork in a split-grip configuration. All models carry Fast action throughout the lineup, and all are spinning-only. 13 Fishing backs the series with a 5-year limited warranty. Seven spinning models from 6'3" to 7'6", all Fast action, spanning ML and M power.
The 6'3" and 6'6" models (ML and M) suit shorter, controlled presentations in tight cover or dock fishing. The 6'9" models extend reach while staying compact. The 7'2" and 7'6" ML models provide distance casting and line management for open-water finesse, drop shot over deep structure, long leaders, and extended leader management. The lineup is spinning-only with Baitcast complement is absent.

A closer look at notable models.
Shortest model, designed for short-range, high-precision presentations: dock fishing, pitching to tight cover, or situations where rod length is a liability. Fast action preserves sensitivity despite the compact blank.
The longer ML model suited for deep-water drop shot and long-leader finesse presentations. At 7'2" it provides line-management leverage when fishing 10'+ fluorocarbon leaders and maintains sensitivity at distance.
Longest model in the series at 7'6". Primarily useful for tournament anglers fishing deep structure with drop shot or split-shot rigs where maximum reach and casting distance are required. The 4–10lb line rating keeps this in finesse-only territory.
