The 13 Fishing Omen Panfish Trout Spinning Rod (OPTS series) serves light-tackle freshwater fishing, crappie, bluegill, perch, trout, with sub-1/4oz presentations. It is made for anglers who want a specialized light rod instead of repurposing a bass rod, and the blank and guides are tuned to the specific weight range of small jigs, tiny crankbaits, and light split-shot rigs. Blanks are Japanese 36-ton Toray graphite, Fast action throughout the lineup.
Split cork grips with an Evolve skeleton reel seat maximize blank contact for bite sensitivity. Guides are Fuji stainless K-frame with Alconite inserts, chosen for casting distance with light line, relevant when casting 1/32oz jigs.
