Vendetta

The Vendetta II is the second-generation update of Abu Garcia's value bass rod, slotted below the Veritas in the lineup. The blank uses 30-ton graphite with multi-directional carbon fiber reinforcement to reduce twist under load while keeping weight low. Stainless steel guides with zirconium inserts ride the blank, paired with Abu Garcia's CCRS carbon-constructed reel seat and Micro-Click reel hoods that lock the foot with an audible detent.

The 25-rod matrix covers 6'3" to 7'6" in casting and 6'3" to 7'4" in spinning, with most actions running fast. Casting powers range from M (8-17 lb) through H (14-30 lb); spinning runs ML through MH (6-14 lb). A single CW (Winch) model, the VDTIICW70-5, is built on a moderate action for treble-hook moving baits. Several lengths appear with a -2 suffix denoting two-piece construction.

ROCS guide spacing is tuned for casting distance with mid-weight baits. The series is sold as a sub-$100 technique-specific lineup, with users reporting all-day comfort across pitching, flipping, cranking, and jerkbait duty.
