Veritas is Abu Garcia's value-tier graphite bass platform, sitting above Vendetta and below the IKE Signature and Zenon families. The line serves the serious freshwater angler who wants 30-ton carbon performance, tournament-oriented technique splits, and modern resin tech at a sub-$200 price. Coverage runs from finesse spinning through heavy flipping casters, with dedicated branches for moving baits and bait-finesse work. Blanks use Powerlux 100, a resin system Abu Garcia claims adds roughly 15 percent strength while shaving about 5 percent weight versus standard graphite layups.

Components include stainless guides with zirconium inserts on most SKUs, a graphite skeletal reel seat, and split-grip EVA or cork handles depending on model. Standard Veritas carries a one-year warranty; the LTD upgrade tier carries three years. The 40-rod lineup splits into casting (VRPC) and spinning (VRPS) trunks. Sub-line prefixes decode as follows: VRPCW and VRPSW (Winch) for cranks, vibrating jigs, and other moving baits with moderate-fast tapers; VRPLTD for the LTD-trim cosmetics and upgraded components; VRPBFC and VRPBFCW for the BFS (Bait Finesse System) spinning branch.
