23 Tatula Elite

The 23 Tatula Elite is Daiwa's 2023 refresh of its technique-specific US bass rod series, sitting in the premium tier below Steez. Blanks use SVF NanoPlus graphite with X45 Bias wrapping, a layup Daiwa reports as roughly 15% lighter than the prior generation and resistant to torsional twist on the cast and hookset. Each rod carries a Carbon Graphite Air Sensor reel seat and Fuji Alconite guides.

The 28-rod matrix is based on pro-staff signature models and covers casting from 6'9" through 8'0" and spinning from 7'0" through 7'6". Action codes appear in the SKU: F for fast, XF for extra-fast, R for regular (moderate). The -G suffix denotes a glass composite blank, used on cranking models such as TTEL721MRB-G, TTEL761HRB-G, TTEL701MHRB-G, TTEL741MHRB-G, and TTEL801MHRB-G.

Lure-weight ratings run from 1/16 oz on the lightest spinning sticks up to 1/2 to 1-1/2 oz on the swimbait and big-bait models. The TTEL741HFB and TTEL801HXB carry 30-55 lb ratings for braid-line frog, punching, and heavy swimbait duty. Street pricing sits near $200.
