EC3.5
Technique-focused bass series on X5 nano-resin graphite, spinning and casting
The EC3.5 is Eagle Claw's technique-focused graphite series built on the X5 blank, which uses five interwoven layers of Japanese Toray graphite sheeting cured with nano-resin. The brand rates the construction as roughly 20% lighter and 50% stronger than comparable graphite, with tapers tuned per model length and power.
Components include semi-micro Sea Guide XO HG tangle-free guides, a soft-touch reel seat, and a hybrid handle that combines Grade A cork with high-density EVA. The lineup spans 6'3" to 7'9" in spinning and casting, with Fast and Extra Fast actions covering finesse to heavy cover work. Useful for bass anglers covering multiple techniques on one rack: light Texas rigs, shaky heads, jigs, spinnerbaits, swim jigs, jerkbaits, and frog work depending on action and power.
Spinning models lean toward drop shot, ned rig, and small soft plastics.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 16 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
