The Eagle Claw Featherlight Pro is a mixed spinning/trolling series that modernizes the long-running Featherlight name with updated composite blanks, new guide sets, and expanded technique coverage. It bridges light freshwater spinning and kokanee/walleye trolling in a single lineup under a recognized legacy brand. Anglers here are general freshwater fishermen who want a reliable, affordable multi-technique rod instead of a specialty tool, the Featherlight Pro is outside the performance crankbait rod or a finesse bass specialist lane.
All models use 2-piece composite (fiberglass/graphite) construction. The composite blank provides more durability and forgiveness than pure graphite, appropriate for trolling applications where tip flexibility matters. Guides are updated from the original Featherlight with a modern set better suited to braided line. Line ratings are not listed on all models in the catalog, but known trolling variants run 8–14 lb range. The spinning models cover ultralight through medium-light, while trolling models extend into medium-light and medium territory appropriate for walleye, kokanee, and general lake trolling.
Nine models: six are splitting between spinning (FLP66LS2, FLP6ULS2, FLP76MLS2, FLP7MLS2, FLP86MLS2) and trolling (FLP76MC2, FLP76MLC2, FLP7MLC2, FLP86MC2) formats. Spinning models cover 6'–8'6" in UL/L/ML powers. Trolling models run 7'–8'6" in ML/M powers. All models are 2-piece.

A closer look at notable models.
Shortest and lightest model in the series, an ultralight 6' 2-piece spinning rod for panfish, trout, and creek fishing. Works as the entry-level light-tackle option in the Featherlight Pro lineup.
Core trolling model at a practical length for boat handling. Medium power and 7'6" suit kokanee, trout, and walleye trolling with standard flasher/lure setups.
Longest trolling model. At 8'6" in medium power, it is suited for deep-diving crankbait or lead-core trolling for walleye where rod length helps spread coverage and soften lure action.
