The Kong Spinning series mirrors the casting lineup's big-game intent but based on spinning tackle, appropriate for surf, open beaches, and pier work where spinning setups are preferred. The same S-Curve graphite blank with Nano-Resin construction carries over, with stainless double-foot Titanium Oxide guides and a nylon-reinforced graphite reel seat rated for heavy spinning reels. The chartreuse strike tip is shared across the Kong family.
These are not light-duty inshore rods; they're designed for situations where the reel needs to hold 300+ yards of heavy braid. Line ratings cluster in the M to MH range (10–40lb), with lure weights from 1/2oz to 8oz. Construction and component spec match the casting variants, same guide system, same blank chemistry. Field reviews suggest good value-to-performance for a budget-to-mid price point, with one reported guide ring failure early in service; KastKing warranty support replaced the rod promptly.
Five spinning models span 7' to 10', with lengths concentrated at 7'–8'. The 10' MH (KRDSPNKG-10MH2) is a clear surf rod outlier in reach; the 7M sits in the general-purpose slot. No ultralight or finesse options exist, the floor here is M power.

A closer look at notable models.
The only 10-footer in the Kong Spinning lineup and the clear surf-fishing build: extra length for beach casting distance, MH power for heavier sinker rigs or plug work in the 2–8oz window. Paired with the chartreuse strike tip for visibility at range.
