Spartacus Passage Travel Twin-Tip Casting

The KastKing Spartacus Passage Travel Twin-Tip Casting series is designed for anglers who need a packable baitcast rod for travel, backpacking, camping, international fly-ins, and multi-day road trips. The core value proposition is that the rod ships and packs in four pieces with a spare tip section included, so a damaged tip does not end the trip. It is a capable backup or travel-specific tool. Blanks are KastFlex IM7 30T graphite, a standard mid-modulus material.

The Power Transition System (PTS) joint design is marketed to reduce the dead-spot feel at ferrules common in cheaper multi-piece rods, aiming for a closer approximation of single-piece blank flex. Stainless steel guides with zirconium oxide inserts handle both mono and braid. Each rod includes a AAA cork foregrip and EVA fighting butt, plus a hard PET transport tube. Five casting models span 6'–7'6". Two operate at M power with MF action (lure 1/4–5/8 oz, line 8–12 lb) suited to lighter finesse casting and Texas/Carolina rigs.

Three are MH/F (lure 3/8–1 oz, line 10–20 lb) covering flipping, frogging, and medium-heavy applications. The step up to 7'6" MH remains full power for travel anglers made for bigger bass on longer pitches. Spinning models in this casting-specific lineup is absent.
