Lamiglas BFC (Big Fish Conventional) Offshore is a heavy composite offshore spinning and conventional series designed for large saltwater species where sustained power is more important than sensitivity, halibut, tuna, sturgeon, grouper, lingcod, and sharks. The composite blank (fiberglass/graphite) with a solid fiberglass/graphite tip section is built for durability under repeated hard pulls and dead-weight bottom fish.
Fast action across the lineup gives hookset authority at depth or distance. One-piece construction throughout. Premium double-foot guides for smooth line flow under heavy loads. The 5'6" models (BFC5610, BFC5610RT) use aluminum reel seats; the 6'6" and 7'0" use standard seats. The RT designates a roller tip and roller stripper guide on BFC5610RT, reducing friction under sustained heavy load, a detail that matters when fighting large fish at depth with monofilament or wire.
Four models: BFC5610 and BFC5610RT (5'6" F, 50–100 lb line), BFC66XH (6'6" XH/F, 30–80 lb), BFC70H (7'0" H/F, 20–50 lb). The 5'6" XH models are heavy-duty deep-water tools; the 7'0" H is the lighter live-bait and trolling option. The 6'6" XH bridges between chunking and deep-water bottom fishing. Not suitable for casting light lures or finesse applications.

Standard-tip version of the BFC5610RT. Same blank and power, without the roller guide hardware, lower cost option for anglers using braided line where roller guides provide less benefit.
5'6" with roller tip and roller stripper guide, reduces line wear and friction when fighting heavy fish at depth with monofilament or wire. Preferred for deep halibut or tuna trips where sustained drag pressure is sustained for long periods.
Lightest model at H power and 7 ft, the live-bait and trolling rod in the series. More manageable line range (20–50 lb) for mid-water pelagic species or inshore heavy-cover work.
