Bluewater

The Lamiglas Bluewater series is a small-batch, U. S. -designed offshore and heavy inshore rod lineup covering jigging, live-bait, trolling, and popper/swimbait casting applications. It serves experienced saltwater anglers fishing for tuna, halibut, lingcod, king mackerel, grouper, tarpon, and similar heavy or structure-oriented species. The series is outside the beginner or budget lineup lane, Lamiglas sits in a mid-to-upper niche with a domestic design pedigree. Blanks use a proprietary blend of High Fiber Density 24-ton IM7 carbon graphite and fiberglass, a hybrid construction that tolerates the shock loads of jigging and live-bait fishing better than pure carbon.

Finish is an aqua blue distinctive to the series. Components include SeaGuide deep-pressed ceramic ring guides, Fuji reel seat, and X-Flock non-slip grip material. Covered by a limited lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects. Five models total, representing different application categories instead of a continuous power progression. Four conventional casting rods and one spinning rod. The 5'8" heavy is a short-stroke jigging tool; the two 6'6" models differ in line class (the BW6625C lacking listed line weight suggesting lighter multi-purpose use, the BW6640C at 20–40 lb rated for heavier work); the 7'0" at 15–30 lb covers tuna trolling and live-bait applications; the sole spinning rod at 7'10" in H/F fills a popper and swimbait casting role.
