The Lamiglas Carbon Surf is a dedicated surf casting series built for surf anglers made for striped bass, bluefish, and similar large surf species from beaches, jetties, and rock structures. The series competes in the mid-tier performance surf rod market, well above entry-level, below custom or semi-custom surf stick territory. The target angler surf fishes regularly and wants a carbon blank with a performance-oriented action at a reasonable price point. Blanks are 30-ton high-density carbon fiber, two-piece with 70/30 split, with surfcaster-tuned moderate-fast action throughout the entire lineup, a deliberate choice providing the parabolic loading needed to launch heavy rigs and the tip-down feel for bait fishing.
K-frame guides (lower-profile, reduced wind knot risk) and a double-locking Fuji reel seat are the notable components. The moderate-fast action is suited to both bait presentations and working plugs like bucktails and surface swimmers. Five-year manufacturer warranty. Seven models, all spinning, 9' to 11'. Powers run L to H. The 9' L (LCS9LS, 10-25lb/3/8-2oz) is the lightest and most finesse-capable; the 11' H (LCS11CANAL, 20-50lb/1-5oz) is the heavyweight for big bait and long-distance casting in rough surf.
The 9' and 10' models handle most standard surf applications; 11' models extend reach for structure fishing or heavy lures. No casting/conventional models in this series.

A closer look at notable models.
Lightest option in the series. The L power designation with 10-25lb line range suits smaller plugs and lighter rigs, appropriate for smaller surf species, calmer conditions, or anglers who prioritize feel over raw casting distance.
Heaviest model; 'CANAL' suffix likely indicates a canal or structure-specific variant for high-pressure urban surf spots (e.g. Cape Cod Canal). H power and 50lb upper line rating handles large eels, chunk bait, and long-distance casting with heavy sinkers.
