Insane Salt

A heavy-duty saltwater series from Lamiglas covering a wide range of near-shore and offshore applications, from serious inshore boat fishing to light offshore trolling and deep-drop work. The name and construction indicate this is outside the finesse series lane; it is built for anglers made for large fish in heavy conditions: halibut, tuna, shark, striped bass, lingcod, and similar. The series works equally well from small boats, jetties, and piers.

One-piece blanks with coated graphite construction, aluminum reel seats, and X-Flock handles (synthetic grip material). Fast action across most of the lineup. The series spans a dramatically wide range from a 5'6" ultra-heavy short rod (LIS5610, rated 50–100lb) to an 8' heavy casting model, showing it was designed to cover multiple distinct fishing scenarios within a single product line instead of a cohesive technique-specific series.

Black with red trim finish. Seven rods: one specialized short model (LIS5610), five 7' models in both casting and spinning across MH/H power, and one 8' casting model. The 7' rods (LIS7020C/S, LIS7030C/S, LIS7040C) step through 10–40lb line and 1–6oz lure weights. The LIS7040C and LIS80402C share the same heavy 20–40lb/1–6oz spec at different lengths, the 8' model adds reach for jetty or pier use.
