SuperSurf 3G Pro

The SuperSurf 3G Pro is Lamiglas's dedicated surf-spinning series made for coastal anglers who cast plugs, metal spoons, and natural baits from the beach, jetty, or canal banks. The SSS9MHS is the compact model, built for anglers who prefer a shorter, more maneuverable stick for close-to-mid-range work, fitting for tight spots like the Cape Cod Canal, rocky points, and bay beaches where long rods create handling problems. Target species are striped bass, bluefish, and other inshore gamefish.

Construction centers on high-modulus graphite blanks finished in Battleship Grey, fitted with Seaguide Titanium K-frame guides that resist corrosion and add minimal weight. The 2-piece split is 70/30 instead of 50/50, giving a near-one-piece feel with carry-in-a-bag portability. The reel seat has been redesigned to accept the full range of Van Staal spinning reels alongside conventional oversized surf reels, a detail that matters to serious surfcasters who run high-end hardware.

Action across the lineup is uniformly fast. The full series spans at least five models from 9 ft through 11 ft-plus, covering lure ranges from 1 oz up to 5 oz. The SSS9MHS (9 ft, MH, 15–25 lb, 1–3 oz) is the lightest entry. Longer and heavier models step up in 10 ft and 11 ft lengths for heavier payloads and distance casting. All models share the same blank finish, guide specification, and reel-seat standard.
