The Lamiglas XP Bass is an entry-to-mid-level bass series built to cover the most common tournament bass techniques across both spinning and baitcasting platforms. The series is sold as a value-oriented option for smallmouth and largemouth fishing and suits anglers who want technique-specific tools without premium pricing. Not engineered for big-bait or offshore applications. Blanks are graphite construction with split-grip cork handles and Fuji exposed-blank ACS trigger reel seats on casting models.
Guides use deep-pressed zirconia inserts. The series spans a range of moderate to heavy actions at standard 7' length, with one extended 7'3" casting model (XP734C) and one longer 7'10" heavy option (XP7105C). The numeric suffix in model names follows Lamiglas's conventional power designation: 702=light, 703=medium, 704=medium-heavy, 705=heavy, providing a simple reference for technique matching. Five casting models and two spinning models.
Spinning runs 7' in light (XP702S, 6–10lb) and medium (XP703S, 8–17lb). Casting covers medium through heavy at standard 7' lengths, with the XP734C at 7'3" for techniques needing extra reach, and XP7105C at 7'10"/15–30lb for frog, punching, or large swimbaits. No Fast or Extra-Fast tapers are listed in available specs, the series leans moderate/medium-fast throughout.

A closer look at notable models.
The core finesse spinning model. Handles drop shot, Ned rig, wacky rig, neko rig, and small swimbaits. 8–17lb line rating gives it more utility than a pure ultralight stick, bridging light and moderate spinning applications.
A moderately longer casting model at 7'3"/medium-heavy for techniques like larger crankbaits, swim jigs, or spinnerbaits where the extra reach aids casting distance and leverages longer sweeping hooksets.
The long, heavy outlier in this otherwise 7'-centered series. At 7'10" and 15–30lb, it serves frog fishing, heavy punching, or large swimbaits. Provides the reach and power necessary to extract fish from thick cover or move heavy bait across long distances.
