American Hero Rods

The Lew's American Hero Rods is a value-tier bass fishing series made for recreational and beginning tournament anglers who need a full casting and spinning toolkit at an accessible price point. The series covers general freshwater bass presentations, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, jigs, soft plastics, and shaky head, without specializing any individual model to a single technique. Both spinning and casting rods are present, with spinning models concentrated in the 6'–7' range and casting models extending to 7'6".

Blanks use graphite construction with fast action as the standard taper across all 13 models. The G3 suffix in model codes indicates the third generation of the American Hero design, reflecting incremental updates to the original platform. Reel seats are standard graphite-insert casting or spinning configurations. Line ratings are appropriate for general freshwater applications, 4-40lb across the lineup, with lure ranges suited to standard soft plastic and reaction bait fishing. No specialized action profiles (moderate, slow) appear; the series is fast-action throughout.

Thirteen models cover 6'–7'6". Spinning rods (6 models) range from 6' ML through 7' MH; casting rods (7 models) run 6'8" ML through 7'6" H. The AH76HCG3 at 7'6" H on 20-40lb and 1/2-2oz anchors the heavy end for punching or flipping applications. The AH610MHCG3 at 6'10" and AH73MHCG3 at 7'3" provide MH options for standard all-around casting. Two-piece models are indicated by the -2 suffix (AH60MLSG3-2, AH66MSG3-2) for transport convenience.
