The Lew's TP2 series is the Tournament Pro tier of casting and spinning rods built on HM45 high-modulus graphite. The proprietary blend yields a thin-diameter, light blank tuned for bass applications across casting and spinning platforms. Components include stainless steel guide frames with titanium-oxide inserts, Lew's skeletal SoftTouch reel seat, and Winn Dri-Tac polymer split-grip handles.
A No Foul hook keeper is fitted to each model. Field & Stream selected the TP2 Gen 3 casting as best budget in its baitcasting test. The casting lineup is organized as labeled technique builds (all-purpose, topwater/jerkbait, crankbait, bladed jig, jig/worm, flipping/frog, swimbait), with -CB1 and -CB2 marking dedicated crankbait tapers, -SBC marking a swimbait/chatterbait build, and -2 marking two-piece variants.
Spinning models cover finesse, dropshot, and shaky head applications.
