Speed Stick Rod

The Lew's Speed Stick is a long-running value and heritage line, refreshed on premium IM8 graphite blanks for bass, walleye, panfish, trout, crappie, and light trolling duty. Target angler is the cost-conscious all-around fisher who wants Fuji hardware and cork grips at the $99 to $129 price point. Blanks are IM8 graphite, with the heavier trolling models adding carbon nano tube reinforcement.

Guides are Fuji Concept O frames with deep-pressed aluminum oxide inserts. The reel seat is Lew's exclusive graphite skeletal SoftTouch design. Grips are full-length cork with Duracork inlay and a foregrip insert; a patented no-foul hook keeper is fitted forward of the seat. Lew's covers the line under a 1-year limited warranty. The 30-model lineup is LSS-prefixed and runs 5' through 10'6", UL through H.

Casting models cover 6'6" through 7'6" for bass duty. Spinning runs the widest span, from 5' ultralight through 9' moderate-fast crappie and panfish sticks. Trolling models carry MT and MMT codes for multi-technique walleye flat-line and planer-board work, with the TEL suffix on the 8'6" model showing a telescopic build for storage and transport.
