Inshore Speed Stick Rods

The Lew's Inshore Speed Stick is a mixed spinning-and-casting inshore saltwater series made for coastal species, primarily redfish, speckled trout, flounder, and snook, across the full range of Gulf and Atlantic inshore techniques. It is intended for anglers who want specialized saltwater-resistant components at a mid-market price point instead of adapted freshwater hardware. Blanks are HM40 graphite, a 40-million-modulus construction that balances blank weight, sensitivity, and durability without the brittleness of higher-modulus blanks.

Casting models use Lew's G Clutch reel seat; spinning models use the CT-1 ComfortTouch grip with an extended front foregrip for fish-fighting leverage. All guides are stainless steel with aluminum oxide inserts rated for saltwater use. Actions are predominantly fast or moderate-fast. Twelve rods cover 6'6" to 7'11" across ML, M, MH, and H power classes. Seven spinning and five casting models are included.

Light ML-MF models handle finesse inshore work; the ISS711HS at 7'11" H-MF addresses sight-casting to big fish or working heavy lures for snook and bull reds. The ISS76MC is the only moderate-action model and suits slow-rolling swimbaits or live-bait presentations.
