Lew's Lite Spinning Rods

The Lew's Lite is a dedicated ultralight/light freshwater spinning series made for finesse anglers made for panfish, trout, and smallmouth with light line and small lures. It is not built for heavy cover, big swimbaits, or saltwater, the 2–6 lb line and 1/32–3/16 oz lure ratings cap its practical range squarely in finesse territory. The target angler wants a featherweight tool for drop-shotting, small ned rigs, inline spinners, and micro jigs. Blanks are built on Lew's HM50 high-modulus graphite, left unsanded on some models, and fitted with super-lightweight guides to keep total weight minimal.

The CT-1 ComfortTouch spinning reel seat uses Winn Dri-Tac handle material, soft, grippy, and lighter than traditional cork or foam. Construction is single-piece throughout except the two 2-piece travel variants (LL66ULS-2 and LL70ULS-2). Actions lean fast to extra-fast, which complements small lure work; the 5-foot MF model is the outlier, tuned for vertical jigging. Nine models, all spinning. Lengths run 5'0" to 7'0". Power is predominantly UL, with two L-power entries (LL64LS and LL70LS).

The 5-foot models address close-quarters dock shooting and vertical presentations; the 6'4"–6'9" range covers general finesse casting; the 7-foot models offer reach for longer casts with small lures. Two 7-foot models are identical in spec but differ in piece count (1-piece vs. 2-piece), giving travel anglers an option.
