The Lew's Super Duty Speed Stick is a heavy-application casting rod series based on HM60 high-modulus graphite blanks, made for freshwater anglers who fish large lures, heavy cover, and big fish, swimbaits, heavy frogs, big jigs, punch rigs. Every model runs H or XH power on longer-than-average 7'6" and 7'11" blanks. Lew's places it as the heavier complement to the KVD and Custom Lite families. Blanks use proprietary multilayered, multidirectional HM60 graphite with a raw graphite finish, a construction that prioritizes tensile strength and backbone over tip sensitivity.
Guides are stainless steel with aluminum oxide inserts (standard for the series; a zirconia tip is added on multi-species models for braid-abrasion tolerance). Reel seats are Lew's Soft Touch skeletal design. Handles are full or split Winn Dri-Tac, a non-cork option that resists slick conditions and absorbs vibration during a fight. No foul hook keeper is standard. Spinning models in this lineup is absent. Five models, all casting, 7'6" and 7'11" lengths. The 7'6" MH/F model is described as a topwater specialist.
The two 7'6" and 7'11" H/F rods share action for power frogs, big jerkbaits, and punching. The XH/MF at 7'11" at 30–80 lb/4–10 oz is the series outlier, specialized for oversized swimbaits or heavy punch fishing. The SD76MHLH is a left-hand retrieve specific variant of the SD76MH. The lineup is deliberately narrow, no models below MH power.
