Long casting rods engineered for multi-rod trolling and spider rigging for crappie, pulling crankbaits, jigs, or live minnows at slow boat speeds while rods are spread in rod holders to cover maximum water. The rod's designer Wally Marshall developed the actions over years of competitive crappie fishing using exactly this technique. The stiffer-than-normal medium action also suits dipping jigs into heavy cover from the boat where immediate lifting power is needed.
Not for finesse casting or dock shooting. IM6 graphite blanks, lightweight graphite reel seat, EVA foam grips, hard aluminum oxide guides. Medium action with MH power throughout the series, deliberately firmer than typical long crappie poles to handle the rod loading from multiple lures trolled at depth. A unique rod length label is built into the blank for quick identification when managing multiple rods in holders. 2-piece construction on 10' and 12'; 3-piece on 14' and 16'.
Four casting models, all MH/M, all sharing identical line (10-25lb) and lure (1/4-1 oz) ratings: WMT10-2 (10'), WMT12-2 (12'), WMT14-3 (14'), WMT16-3 (16'). Length selection depends on boat configuration and desired rod spread width during spider rigging. All casting, unusual for crappie rods but matches the technique's use of small baitcast or spin-cast reels in rod holders.

A closer look at notable models.
Shortest model. More manageable in smaller boats or for solo anglers who can't handle the full spread. Also the better choice for dipping heavy cover where a shorter, more controlled rod is easier to operate.
Longest rod in the series and in most crappie troll setups. Maximum horizontal spread when used in bank rod holders. 3-piece construction is necessary for this length for transport. Suited to large reservoir fishing where wider bait spread covers more structure.
