Dedicated crankbait series from Lew's based on a bass angler who spends long sessions running reaction baits, shallow to deep-diving plugs, flat-sided cranks, and lipless rattlebaits. The five models cover the M-through-MH power range with MF and XF actions, made for tournament and avid recreational bass fishers who prioritize casting distance and feel over a multi-purpose tool. Blanks use Lew's HM50 Tour Grade graphite blended with S-Glass in a Carbon Nano Tube construction, a deliberate compromise to keep crankbait-specific parabolic load in the tip while retaining enough graphite sensitivity to detect deflections and subtle bites.
Seaguide X-Frame guides help manage the constant vibration and line stress of extended cranking. Winn Dri-Tac full grips and the VTR skeletal reel seat are shared across the line. Hardware is consistent throughout, no budget cuts between models. All five models are baitcasting (no spinning). LPM3XD (7'4" M/MF) and LPM5XD (7'6" M/MF) target mid-range cranks and similar-depth applications; LPM6XD, LPM8XD, and LPM10XD step up to MH/XF for bigger, deeper-diving plugs and longer casts with heavier line.
The 7'10" LPM10XD is the outlier, longest in the series for maximum cast distance with deep divers on heavier mono or fluoro.
