The Major Craft Tide Lift 1G (TD1) Boat Seabass Model (タイドリフト1G ボートシーバスモデル) is a budget-tier offshore seabass series designed specifically for boat-based lure fishing made for Japanese seabass (suzuki/seabass). Positioned at the entry level of Major Craft's 1G grade, this series prioritizes accessible pricing (~¥15,000–16,000) while offering field-specific model differentiation. Blanks use medium-modulus carbon as the main cross material, chosen to reduce tip-snap rejection (ティップの弾きを抑える), a key requirement for boat seabass where fish are often struck at close range.
Fuji K-guide frames (糸絡み激減) reduce line tangle. The spinning models use an up-lock reel seat design; all models are 2-piece center-cut for transport. Blank design balances operability and bending throughout the blank instead of stiff butt/soft tip. Weights range 95–118g. Short spinning models carry Fast action for pin-point casting in tight boat situations; longer models and regular-fast models extend distance in open water. Baitcast models carry Regular action to reduce casting trouble.
Seven models: five spinning (S) and two baitcasting (B). Spinning runs 6'3"–7'0" in L/ML/M power; baitcasting runs 6'6"–6'8" in ML/M. Short spinning (TD1BS-S632L/ML) at 6'3" handles 5–25g; longer spinning models reach 7–40g. Baitcasting models stay in the 7–40g range for standard boat seabass lures. All models handle PE 0.6–2.0 (braid).

Shortest model at 6'3" with Fast action and the lightest lure range (5–25g / PE 0.6–1.2). Soft tip with moderate belly suits small-to-medium minnows and 15g-class vibration baits. Also handles topwater plug manipulation well. The pin-point control tool of the series.
The standard baitcast model, Regular action at 6'6"/ML. Regular taper reduces casting trouble and suits minnow plugs, vibration baits, and spintail jigs. Underhand casting in tight boat situations is easy at this length.
Heavier baitcast model at 6'8"/M power for 10–40g lures. Primary application is distance casting of larger plugs and vibration baits. Also handles 15cm-class topwater pencilbaits effectively in active surface-feeding conditions.
Longest spinning model at 7'0"/M power with Regular-Fast action handling 10–40g / PE 1.0–2.0. Suited for long-range casting in open water with heavy plugs and vibration baits; also noted for autumn topwater work with mid-size pencilbaits on konosiro (gizzard shad) patterns.
