The Aji-Do 5G Float & Caro Model (AD5-S832FC/AJI) is Major Craft's purpose-specific outlier within the Aji-Do 5G ajing lineup, a single rod designed for two distinct rig styles that share a need for distance and depth access: float (uki) rigs and Carolina (caro) rigs. The target angler is an ajing specialist chasing horse mackerel (aji) and other small-bodied inshore species in Japan, fishing situations where standard light jighead rods lack casting range or cannot reach deeper water columns.

The rod is described as the most powerful model in the 5G family. The blank uses Major Craft's R360 construction, a manufacturing method that wraps carbon in multiple rotational directions, combined with Toray T1100G high-tensile carbon fiber, the same core technology used throughout the Aji-Do 5G range. The result is described as flexible yet firm, sensitive enough for the light-rig feedback demands of ajing, yet capable of loading under float-rig casting weight (up to 24 g / approximately 7/8 oz).

At 8'3" with two pieces, it is the longest rod in the Aji-Do 5G lineup. Japanese copy translated: "The FC model extends the Ajido 5G's sensitivity and lightness into longer casts and deeper ranges, the definitive high-range tool in the series." Single model only: AD5-S832FC/AJI (8'3", spinning, 2-piece, Fast action, 3–24 g lure, PE 0.3–0.8). All shorter L, ML, and M models in the Aji-Do 5G are separate series entries. Domestic Japanese pricing positions this in the mid-tier ajing segment.
