Light Jigging Full Solid model

The GK Bend Game Light Jigging (GKBGLJ) is Major Craft's offshore light jigging series based on full-solid carbon blanks. Its primary application is slow-pitch and speed jigging in water depths of roughly 50–150m, made for species such as yellowtail, amberjack, sea bass, and flounder on jigs in the roughly 20–180g range. The full-solid blank construction differentiates this series from hollow-tip variants: without a hollow cavity the blank achieves higher crush and flex strength across the entire length, enabling a continuous parabolic bend that encourages jig flutter on the drop and maintains constant pressure on the fish throughout the fight.

The GKBGLJ blank uses carbon full-solid technology throughout, not just a solid tip section. That gives the blank heavier than a hollow equivalent but more resistant to breakage under sharp lateral loads, a practical concern when jig fishing near bottom structure. Guides are Fuji K-series. Both baitcasting (B prefix) and spinning (S prefix) configurations are offered, and the lineup is specced identically across both styles, allowing anglers to fish either reel type without model compromise. The action designation is regular-fast throughout, appropriate for jigging motions that rely on blank rebound to animate the lure.

Eight models cover 6'2" and 6'4" lengths in UL, L, ML, and M power. The UL and L models (jig top weights 100–120g) are oriented toward ultra-light jigging with small jigs and light PE line; the ML and M models extend the ceiling to approximately 180g for deeper or faster-current work. Identical power and length options across baitcasting and spinning means each angler can select their preferred reel style without changing technique.
