The Major Craft Rock Liver 5G Light Rock model (RVL5) is a three-rod spinning lineup built for shore-based light rock game in Japan. Primarily mebaru (rockfish) and kasago (scorpionfish) targeted on jig heads, small plugs, and micro jigs from breakwaters, jetties, and rocky shorelines. The intended angler is an experienced light-game specialist comfortable with sub-5g lures and light PE lines. All three rods are built on Toray T1100G carbon fiber blanks assembled with Major Craft's R360 manufacturing process, which wraps fiber in multiple directions to increase torque and reduce blank twist.
Guides are Fuji SIC-S throughout. The key construction distinction within the lineup is tip type: the S762UL uses a solid tip ("S" prefix) for maximum bite detection and load absorption on soft presentations, while the T732UL and T782L use tubular tips ("T") for better lure-control feedback and a more metallic strike sensation. The lineup covers 7'3" to 7'8" in spinning configuration, all rated 1–5 lb line and UL to L power, priced at ¥29,500–¥30,500.
The S762UL is the finesse-oriented jig-head specialist; the T732UL is the reactive tubular option at the shortest length; the T782L adds reach and slightly heavier lure range (to 7g) for versatility across day and night sessions. All are 2-piece. [JDM series, page copy translated from Japanese.]

Tubular tip at the shortest length in the lineup. The high-sensitivity blank favors winding light jig heads to trigger reactionary strikes and working small plugs with crisp, metallic feedback. The shortest reach makes it the most maneuverable option in tight shoreline spots.
Solid-tip model. Suited for jig-head soaking presentations. Dead-sticking or slow retrieves. Where maximum bite transmission and hook absorption are priorities. The XF action combined with the solid tip gives an automatic-feel hookup on tentative bites. Recommended especially for low-activity mebaru.
The all-rounder. L power with a 7g lure ceiling adds range for bottom winding with 3g jig heads, micro jigs, nano rubber lures, and wider-area searches. Longest reach in the series; also suitable for rocky shore mebaru and kasago where extra reach aids fish control.
