The New Solpara SPSJ Shore Jigging series is Major Craft's value-tier shore jigging line, designed for casting metal jigs, metal vibes, and diving minnows from breakwaters, rocky headlands, and beach faces. Target species are inshore pelagics and coastal predators, hiramasa, shiiramasa, bluefin juveniles, bonito, mackerel, and similar, that respond to fast-retrieved metal jigs. The series pitches at the angler who wants functional shore jigging capability without moving up to mid- or high-grade blanks.
Blanks use medium-elasticity carbon that bends from tip through the mid-section on the cast, aiding jig launch distance without sacrificing the mid-blank power needed to turn fish. Fuji K-frame guides are fitted to reduce PE line tangles during repeated overhead casts with braided line. All models are two-piece spinning configuration. Construction quality is consistent with New Solpara's positioning as a high-value entry-level series, functional guides and seat components instead of premium fittings.
Eight models cover 9'4" to 10', in ML through H power. The LSJ-suffix models (Light Shore Jigging) carry lighter lure ceilings (approximately 40–50g) for sub-species or conditions where lighter metals are preferred; non-LSJ models run heavier lure ratings for standard shore jigging with 60–100g metals. The two MH models and the lone H model at 10' provide the casting range and blank power for conditions requiring maximum distance or larger fish.

A closer look at notable models.
Shortest and lightest model, designated Light Shore Jigging. Suited to lighter metals (15–40g), micro jigs, and metal vibes where a more flexible blank aids jig action on the retrieve. Lower casting ceiling limits its range on open shorelines.
Heaviest and longest model. Fixed lure weight designation (both min and max listed identically at ~80g) suggests it is optimised for a specific jig mass at maximum casting range. Appropriate for open rocky points where pelagics require long throws.
Second-heaviest option at the maximum 10' length. A practical workhorse for most standard shore jigging metals in the 50–60g range from exposed headlands.
